occupation: barista/supervisor at starbucks

a random fact: i'm (mostly) ambidextrous!  technically it's called being mixed handed, but i can do the vast majority of things equally well with either hand (i do have preferences for certain things though).  it's pretty cool i think.

~interests/hobbies/etc~
hobbies: listening to music, playing the sims/stardew valley, watching tv, sports (mainly baseball + figure skating), painting/drawing (sometimes), hiking/exploring, traveling, going to concerts, photography, coding (website stuff, mainly).

music: i listen to a lot of different types of music, top favorite genres are rock, pop, edm, metal, rnb.  other genres i like include jazz, classical, folk, hip hop, soul, funk... and even some country (but mostly bluegrass). my favorite artist at the moment is bts.   feel free to browse my taste in more depth by checking out my last.fm account :D

movies: requiem for a dream, forrest gump, independence day, the princess bride, up, inside out, 28 days later, to all the boys i've loved before, and imagine me and you among a few others. i don't watch movies often though.

books: alas, i have not been reading as much as i'd like to lately.  my favorite genres are sci fi, fantasy, historical fiction, true crime, and queer lit.  i have a soft spot for ya stuff too. i'm hoping to get back into reading more this year so i can have some favorites to put here eventually.

shows: i rarely watch tv because my lack of an attention span won't really let me.  my all time favorite show is the good place. some others i like or am in the process of (slowly) watching include bob's burgers, doctor who (rtd era), bojack horseman, chuck, jane the virgin, squid game, and various anime (yuri on ice, free!, banana fish, kny (in progress) are ones i've recently watched, and i have a very, very long queue awaiting me on crunchyroll that i will likely never get to).

~about the journal~
this is a personal journal, where i mainly just ramble about my life, my interests, the weird ways in which my brain works, any show/music/video game etc i might be obsessing over at any given moment, things happening at work, and etc.  i don't know how actively i'll post, but i would like to try and post at *least* once a week.

of course! i have no problems granting access, even though i don't have too much in the way of entries right now because i've mostly been using this as a diary and have the vast majority of my posts set to private, haha.

but hey, now that i have a few people on my subscribers list i'll definitely make more posts just access only. :D
